As we start to close out 2025, the shift in focus is moving swiftly towards some technology predictions for 2026. Nearly every sector we are working with are incorporating artificial intelligence into their 2026 strategy, these include AI-native platforms, agentic AI, quantum-safe security, sovereign clouds, and human-cantered creativity, all of which have very specific functions.

Artificial Intelligence at Scale

  • AI-native platforms: Software will be built with AI embedded from the start, enabling apps that learn and adapt autonomously.

  • Agentic AI: Moving beyond large language models, agentic AI will autonomously perform tasks, optimize workflows, and act as digital co-workers.

  • Governance as the accelerator: Enterprises will realize that disciplined governance frameworks matter more than algorithms for ROI.

Quantum & Security Innovations

  • Quantum-safe encryption: Preparing for quantum computing breakthroughs expected before 2027, companies will adopt encryption methods resistant to quantum attacks.

  • Confidential computing: Data will remain encrypted even while in use, enabling secure cloud adoption in sensitive industries like finance and healthcare.

  • Sovereign clouds: Nations and enterprises will demand strict data residency and sovereignty controls, especially in Europe.

Enterprise & Industry Shifts

  • Knowledge layers for AI: Enterprises will build new data architectures (vector embeddings, graphs) to feed AI systems effectively.

  • Digital tokens for assets: Supply chains will tokenize assets (containers, invoices) to streamline trade and payments.

  • AI-powered networks: Self-healing, self-optimizing enterprise networks will reduce human intervention.

 Creativity & Human-Centric Tech

  • Authenticity in creativity: Adobe predicts trends emphasizing emotion and human connection, counterbalancing AI-generated content.

  • Immersive visuals & surrealism: AI will enable surreal, physics-defying art, but human emotion will remain the differentiator.

Sector-Specific Predictions

  • Restaurants: Expect AI-driven ordering via chatbots, delivery robots facing scaling challenges, and even restaurant-branded podcasts.

  • Media & entertainment: Streaming wars will end as “super aggregators” dominate, bundling entertainment with commerce and community
